SleepAngel's new Medical product range won the Best Newcomer award in Liverpool

The Infection Prevention Society's annual conference celebrated 60 years of infection control and took place in Liverpool from 22 to 24 September 2019.

The Infection Prevention Society conference brought together leading practitioners and experts in infection prevention, control and microbiology from Scandinavia, the UK and Ireland. Over three days, they provided an overview of the latest news and innovations in the field.

At the conference, SleepAngel introduced a new pediatric and intensive care product line, operating table mattress covers and positioning pillows, and the already well-known medical pillows and mattresses. All SleepAngel products are based on SleepAngel's unique and patented PneumaPure filter technology (more information below).

SleepAngel was voted by more than 500 delegates as deserving of the Best Newcomer Award.

PneumaPure filter technology

Products with SleepAngel PneumaPure filter technology have a proven ability to block microparticles, preventing dirt, moisture, dust mites and disease-causing bacteria from entering soft surfaces. At the same time, the bedding products are breathable and comfortable for users (patients).

The product technology has been tested by Airmid (Ireland) and Centexbel (Belgium) laboratories. Clinical tests have also been conducted by St Bartholomew's Hospital (London) and Turku University Hospital (Finland). The product line is included in the European Union Class 1 medical device register.
