NEW: SleepAngel dog bed – an investment in your dog's well-being and health

Choosing a dog bed may seem like a simple task at first glance, but in reality it is much more complicated. The main concerns of dog owners are related to the quality, cleanliness and comfort of the bed. Help your pet rest and recover in a clean, comfortable and beautiful bed that meets his needs.

With the well-being of pets in mind and taking advantage of the best features of SleepAngel's patented technology, SleepAngel now also offers high-quality dog beds that do not absorb odors, dirt, or liquids and therefore retain their original shape better.

When choosing the best bed for your dog, the following aspects should be considered:

Size and lifestyle:

Choose a kennel that is appropriate for your dog's size and lifestyle. If your dog is small, it may be a good idea to choose a kennel that is comfortable and secure enough for your dog to rest comfortably in. If your dog is larger, it may be a good idea to choose a kennel that is large and stable enough for your dog to stay still comfortably in. If your dog runs a lot or is generally active, it may be a good idea to choose a kennel that is even stronger and more stable.

Cleanliness and cleanability:

Choose a nest that is easy to remove and clean or has a waterproof top cover. This will help keep the nest clean and attractive and reduce the risk of mold. A nest that is easy to clean and dries quickly will also help prevent the development of “dog smell”

Joint problems :

If your dog is older or has joint problems, the comfort of the bed is especially important. A comfortable and supportive bed that is comfortable for them to be in will help alleviate joint problems and ensure that they can get enough rest and recovery.

Quality and stability:

Choose a nest that is high-quality and stable to ensure your dog can rest and recover. A quality nest is strong and stable, with enough space for your dog to find a comfortable position.

Choosing a dog bed is an important decision because it directly affects your dog's health and well-being. A high-quality and suitable bed will help your dog rest and recover, while also keeping your dog's bed clean and beautiful.

SleepAngel has created a dog bed that fully meets all of these requirements.

Kristiina Tammik tried the SleepAngel dog bed:

I have sports and show dogs that live very active lives. Because of this, their recovery is extremely important to me. With an active lifestyle, everything wears out - joints in particular, but of course the dog's muscles also need proper rest. During the rest period, my dogs run about 10-12 km per day, before the active competition period this doubles and the average number of kilometers per day is then about 20.

In addition to home life, the SleepAngel mat is also used in the car. We often drive very long distances (up to 10-12 hours a day), which again means that having a very high-quality bed is important so that the dogs are not stiff when they get out of the car.

During the summer, one of the most important aspects of the SleepAngel mat is that it is waterproof. We often come from near bodies of water and no amount of dirt, sand, and most importantly - water can ruin the mat. I just wipe it with a cloth and it's like new again.

Dog beds, especially the mats in the cheaper price range, are not very high quality. The contents tend to sink in, and since dogs unfortunately bring a lot of dirt home with their paws, even though we wash the cover, the contents of the cushion remain completely unwashed. This means mold growth during the wetter season, but also just a nasty dog smell, which I personally don't want to smell at home at all.

In addition, cleaning the SleepAngel mat at home is very easy, just shake off the larger mess and wash it with a cloth and you're done. With a regular filled mat, you can keep shaking it for the rest of your life, because the hair and sand will still stay in the mat.

A high-quality bed is important for a dog for several other reasons:

Cleanliness is certainly important for the health of the animal - it is necessary for all of us. However, it is also important when considering the pet's joints.

As an animal gets older, just like humans, it can suffer from arthritis, joint stiffness, and other joint problems. Some breeds are also more susceptible to various joint diseases (elbow and hip dysplasia), usually dogs with a more robust body type, but no breed is exempt - it all comes down to the individual.

In my opinion, the SleepAngel mat is heat-retaining, the nest is warm, does not sink into a “hole” at any end, and always provides maximum support for the dog. No joint remains stiff, and the dog always comes out of it refreshed and rested. This is especially noticeable during longer car trips, where sometimes the pet really has to stay in the narrow trunk of the car for 5-6 hours.

My dogs have been very successful in competitions, and probably some of that is also on the SleepAngel mats. In May, my dogs participated in the World Cross-Country Running Championships and achieved respectable podium finishes. While attending the championships in Northern Finland, we also made a quick detour to the very top of Lapland, to Inari. In addition to such a major cross-country running event, they have also picked up some really awesome first places here and in nearby countries.

In April, SleepAngel's mat traveled with me to France, where we visited one of the largest dog shows in Europe and came back with a very victorious dog who was able to add a new title to his name: European Winner 2022.

For all the skeptics, I recommend spending an hour in a so-called regular dog bed. I believe that many people's butts will become stiff in a very short time. The same goes for a dog who, unfortunately, is forced to stay in the bed for several hours.

I would even stretch out in the Sleepangel nest. My child, for whom my dog nest is the size of a children's mattress, often does this 🙂
