From healthcare to accommodations - sleep products with filter technology

Could you tell us a little about SleepAngel?

We believe that everyone should sleep in a clean sleeping environment - Where the Air is Pure. The problem is that there has been no research into the risks that can arise from contaminated sleeping equipment (pillows, mattresses, etc.) and exposure to allergens and pathogens.

SleepAngel has a medical background, where reducing contaminated surfaces in the environment is a priority. When it comes to conventional pillows - and sleep products in general - it is often forgotten that they are potentially contaminated surfaces. In addition to allergens, soft surfaces can also harbor viruses, mold, pathogens and more, which enter sleep products through seams or zippers and then develop and multiply there thanks to the appropriate environment (moist and warm).

In addition, approximately two liters of contaminated humid air are released into the environment every time a person puts their head on a pillow. Thus, sleeping equipment acts as both a reservoir and a spreader. Changing bed linen alone is not enough to ensure cleanliness, and often even washing sleeping equipment is not enough. The solution is CE-marked barrier products that act as an effective barrier to viruses, pathogens, bed bugs, dust mites, as well as moisture and body fluids.

How do SleepAngel products support users' health?

Quality sleep is the best way to improve your physical and mental health. Now that we are (at least in some countries) entering a post-COVID-19 or living with the virus world, the keyword everywhere has become "cleanliness". Achieving clinical cleanliness, especially in accommodations and hotels, is difficult because sleep products "breathe" like people and achieving cleanliness would require washing and vacuuming sleep products every time, which is neither sustainable nor practical.

The "like new" feel of SleepAngel sleep products is based on a combination of innovations - the products include a built-in "mask" or PneumaPure filter as standard, the products are fused together instead of seams, and the covering materials ensure both comfort of use and cleanliness. All our products are a barrier to allergens, pathogens, viruses and (bodily) fluids, which remain on the outside of the products, from which they can be removed according to the prescribed cleaning rules. This means that there is no need for a separate laundry service or dust removal and that the products are also safe for guests with dust allergies or asthma.
